The role of SARA will be portrayed by Katharine Isabelle. A native of Vancouver, Isabelle began acting at an early age. Her big screen debut came in Joel Schumacher's critical success, COUSINS, starring Ted Danson and Isabella Rossellini, as Rossellini's daughter. Memorable guest appearances in such television series as MADISON, THE X-FILES, DAVINCI'S INQUEST and FIRST WAVE followed. Isabelle continued to build her cinematic resume by appearing in KNIGHT MOVES with international action star Christopher Lambert and SPOOKY HOUSE with Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley.
American audiences began to take notice of Isabelle after her performance in the teen thriller, DISTURBING BEHAVIOR, and the Nickelodeon feature hit, SNOW DAY. Isabelle also had a memorable turn opposite Al Pacino in Christopher Nolan's suspense hit, INSOMNIA, and Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont's JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS for Universal. However, it would be her starring role as "Ginger" in the innovative coming-of-age horror film GINGER SNAPS and its lucrative indie hit sequels that would give her cult status among genre fans.
Other big screen credits include her starring turn in New Line's hit film, FREDDY VS. JASON which has re-launched both the FRIDAY THE 13TH and NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET franchises. Katharine is also a hot commodity on the independent film scene as well, with starring roles in such films as FALLING ANGELS, ON THE CORNER and TURNING PAIGE.
