Heartbreaker Andrew Stein - Screenwriter Andrew Stein is a 37 year-old native New Yorker. After receiving a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University, he earned his MFA in Film from Columbia University in 1993 where his thesis screenplay received the school's highest screenwriting award. He has worked as a script reader for Alan J. Pakula Productions, Laurel Entertainment, and Martin Bregman Productions in New York City. He has had projects set up with actor James Spader, director Stacy Cochran (My New Gun, Boys) producers Neal Nordlinger (Junior, Last Action Hero) & Christopher Lawford (Kiss Me Guido) and Martin Sheen's Symphony Pictures. He currently has projects in active development with Rhino Films producer Stephen Nemeth (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas) and Nostromo Films. Since 1995 Andy has taught beginner and advanced screenwriting workshops for Writers Boot Camp in New York. He is currently represented by Ragna Nervik Management and Original Artists. He resides in Hoboken, New Jersey.
