Jacqueline Cruz

Ms. Cruz has over nine years of in-depth experience in the film and television industry and has produced and production managed over twelve short films. One of her most recent productions, THE NIGHT BEFORE, garnered a 2003 award from the International Cinematography Guild for its excellence in cinematography.

After graduating from the Screenwriting program at Loyola Marymount University, Ms. Cruz was also named the 1995 Scholar of the Philippine-American Women Writers and Artists (PAWWA). Her professional experience includes the prestigious William Morris Agency and DreamWorks SKG Television, where she worked on successful series such as SPIN CITY, IT'S LIKE, YOU KNOW and FREAKS AND GEEKS.

She then served as Story Editor at Baltimore/Spring Creek Pictures, the film production company of director Barry Levinson and producer Paula Weinstein, where she was involved in developing such projects as the 2000 summer blockbuster THE PERFECT STORM, POSSESSION directed by Neil LaBute, and the Bruce Willis/Billy Bob Thornton starrer, BANDITS.

Most recently, she worked as Director of Development for producer Gale Anne Hurd's Valhalla Motion Pictures, where she worked on the first-run syndicated television show ADVENTURE INC. and brought in horror-meister Mario Bava's classic films, BLACK SABBATH and KIDNAPPED, for Hurd to remake.
